Accommodation
Conference delegates will be accommodated in the conference venue (The Grand Hotel) and nearby hotels on the Brighton seafront (Metropole, Old Ship), all within a 5-10 minutes walking distance. All the hotels provide Internet access (see below for details). The Thistle hotel advertised previously is no longer available.) If you wish to share a room, with another attendee you will need to name the other attendee at the time you register, and they should also register, giving your name as their sharing partner. (Note in British English a TWIN room has two individual beds, a DOUBLE room has one two person bed, and British hotel bedrooms as in many other European countries are generally smaller than in comparable American hotels). Should only one attendee from a pair sharing arrive at the conference, that attendee will be liable for the full cost of the room. If you would like to find another attendee to share with you, a mailing list at MSN Groups has been made available for posting offers to share. Please note that the conference organizers are not responsible for content posted to the mailing list. Please do not contact the hotels directly, but make your booking through the conference registration system.
